Class Descriptions

Moonlight Yoga Denver currently offers regularly scheduled classes on Friday’s at 2pm. See the descriptions below for more information.

Slow Flow with Meditation

This class is a blend of Hatha and Vinyasa yoga styles. Classes will be designed to build inner and outer strength while encouraging students to become more aware of their internal process. Each class will end with Pranayama (breathwork) and Meditation.

Yin Yoga

The first Friday of the month will be reserved for Yin Yoga with Meditation.  Yin Yoga is a slow, meditative yoga style and each posture will be held for 3-5 minutes. The class works deep into the connective tissue which can help the body to become more flexible and keep joints healthy. Meditation and Pranayama will be incorporated throughout class. Props are recommended but the instructor will also cue to those who don’t have a full set of props available at home. This class is for every body.

Yoga Nidra with Distance Reiki

The final Friday of every month is reserved for a Yoga Nidra practice. Yoga Nidra is a practice in which the student is guided through a meditation while lying in Savasana. Each class will open with a short, gentle movement practice. Students who take this class will receive distance Reiki throughout the class.
